POLIN Acanthus Copper Berry are MAKU’s second designer edition slippers… We have collaborated with artist Melissa White again for this special Christmas micro batch, giving her beautiful Acanthus Berry design a festive interpretation. This seasonal batch of just five pairs will be hand painted to order in beautiful deep metallic green and studded with metallic copper berries.
Melissa designs stunning hand-painted surface patterns that grace the walls of many a grand hotel and stately home worldwide. For this project, we have made a batch of our POLIN slip-ons using beautiful pale leather seconds with a subtly variegated finish – the perfect surface for Melissa to decorate. Using specialist leather paints, Melissa will be hand-painting just five pairs of these slippers to order.

POLIN slip-ons are perfect for keeping your feet comfortable all year round. In cooler months POLIN’s sheepskin lining ensures your feet are beautifully cosy, whilst in warmer months the same inner allows your feet to breathe as sheepskin naturally wicks away any moisture. This batch have inners made from soft grey sheepskin offcuts, light, hard-wearing textured soles and our trademark striped trim.
